Nah.  I used to write little romance stories in Japanese and drew a whole bunch of pictures, mostly because that was one of the classes I couldn't get away with reading novels or comic books in.  Math class was great, even though I had this one teacher who kept trying to confiscate my stuff.  Didn't work--I always confiscated it right back while she wasn't watching >_>


That said, kid, don't do what I did.  Study hard and recognize that the AP Japanese exam is never going to ask you about nautical terms.
