The militia captain isn't even a Wrestler, he's a Master Lasher who for some reason dropped his weapon before coming to this battle!

The other Lasher must feel really sheepish. He's like, "Don't worry, I got him, I got him!" and suddenly his commanding officer jumps in and rips the things brain out from behind!

Punching is pretty damn deadly this version- there was a punching based characters in one of the gladiator tournaments who when I tested in arena mode hit about as hard as a platinum mace. Though the fact this was unskilled does make it quite surprising.

I had my entire military wiped out by a forgotten beattle beast. I hastily formed a militia that included a novice miner.

The miner promptly put is pick through the beast's brain killing it instantly.

He now has a very nice bed room and private dining room.

Well, if even little dwarven babies can wound forgotten beast,
killing a forgotten beast is the least thing I would expect from a trained dwarven soldier,
no matter whether trained wrestler or not

Not that long ago I had a hill titan show up at my fort.  I didn't have much in the way of defenses set up so I started a hasty military figuring I was doomed.  I barely got my military into position as it came around the corner into the fort entrance.  As soon as it peeked around the corner, a Dabbling macedwarf crushed its skull and killed it.

My glassmaker just punched an olm man's skull through it's brain. He also tore the brain apart.
