Create remote scouts and add them to the ranks of the carriers' fighters.

Dispatch 5 War crabs to each fleet and build a new fleet of 2 carriers and 10 War crabs.

Convert the yellow-star systems into dedicated mineral extraction facilities and the white-star systems into dedicated ship manufacturing facilities.

Build deep-space explorers and send them out at maximum speed to search for communication traffic in our region, have them deploy a network of cloaked communication relays in their wake.

Build survey craft to locate mineral-rich systems and spacial anomalies.

You want them to look for an object, around the size of a van, in our region, which spans around 20 light years by 6 light years?

Also, if we infect the not-blobs, do we know what they knew? (eg. if we infect a scientist do we know the science he knew). If answer is no, determine a way for that to happen.

I say we attempt to take part of ourselves and evolve it into a state of being where it is composed of pure energy, as in the next step in our evolution.  Make it our avatar, that is able to teleport between any place the hive mind is.

How could we have done this without FTL communication? Yeah, we could make each planet one hive mind, but each fleet and planet would be slightly out of synch, and would have trouble cooperating on problems and such, correct me if im wrong on this though, i haven't read pages of 40-100 of this.

I was thinking of less sophisticated communications, things like radio noise or broadcasters on planets. I was hoping that they could find other civilisations.

Our teleportation is our FTL communication.  We can instantly transport things between systems.

So my crundles are staying intact unless they're newly spawned... until they are exposed to anything that isn't at room temperature.  This mostly seems to mean blood, specifically, their own.  Then they go poof very quickly.

I figured that we only had the one soul, so that we were aware of everything occurring within our self. The logistics of a practically cohesive brain the size of a planet are somewhat troubling, even with electrical signals it would take seconds for data on one side to be relevant to data from the other, which is quite slow for a brain...

Well, it doesn't necessarily have to be one brain.  It could sort of act like a multi-cored computer.  Also, our teleportation technology allows us control over quantum-entangled particles or some such, which would help a bit.
