Why, we don't have to! When the Primpsk delegation returns to Caanan, it tells you of everything that it has learned about the NOT-BLOBS. It appears that they have strings of what they call hyper-relays between their planets. Hyper-relays are individual machines that can be linked to other hyper-relays, allowing for almost instantaneous communication between the two for distances up to 10 light years. It is a simple matter to send one of your fleets to find and take a hyper-relay floating in the dead of space, communicating between two stars more than 10 lightyears apart.
However, that useful tidbit of knowledge was the only really useful thing that the delegation gave to you. The delegation actually wasn't sent to the NOT-BLOB homeworld, since it appears that they are not actually from this galaxy. Unless the phrase 'Galaxy spanner' is a mistranslation, you doubt that it would be possible to infect all the NOT-BLOBS in the universe, only the ones that are in your galaxy. Shame.
The NOT-BLOBS themselves are rather unassuming when they are out of their suits. They have four tentacles, and a pair of eye stalks. Instead of a skeleton, they have a support structure made with a material similar to cartilage. As such, they are extremely flexible. Their mouth is a thin line on the front of their body, near the top. You have no idea what their diet would be, since you never saw them eat anything, or in fact open their mouths, since their nose, on the other side of the body, contains their vocal cords.
The delegation has little ideas on how the NOT-BLOB weaponry or ships are built, or any other pieces useful information, unless you count how their sewer systems look like, or several monuments and other useless buildings.
