FuzzyZergling: We have reproductive spores.

Evergod41: I can't be sure of this, but didn't you vote to stay on this route when the poll was open? If I'm wrong then we're counter-evolution buddies. If not, then you're trying to take us down something similar to the counter-evolution route I argued for us to go down.

I meant a reproductive system that does not rely on having other living creatures in the area, but Fluid Transport System sounds good as well.

create fruitlike organ, so that fungus can convert extra sunlight into supplementary food for the slaved organisms

This, as well as more robust leaves to support it.

Aye, I was Pro-Counter-Evolution. Though I dont mind it so much now, cause we are plying as a hive-mind... But I am trying to make our individuals better, not just the group as a whole...

Hello counter-evolution buddy.
Our individual is pretty godplayer right now, though. We have natural defenses to keep things from coming anywhere near us. Until we reach land and have to become mobile we won't really need scare tactics. Unless a vegetarian shark comes along. If that happens we're pretty much doomed.

We should definitely improve our leaves and create some sort of an organ that can give our horde food.  I think we should also at some point create a creature with an air bladder, leaves, some basic fins, and the feeding organ.  It will float up to the surface where the sunlight is strongest and can act as a mobile feeding station.

We should use budding to reproduce.

Doable.  Put more sugar into our 'leaf' organs, expand them a heck of a lot and then make them available for munching.

No, should be a separate organ. If it's just the leaves then other things could come and eat them and if they're all eaten we'd be screwed until we could grow them back.

Well, not all the leaves.  Just some of them.  That's quite often how organ differentiation/specialisation works, anyhow - some existing organs are duplicated and the duplicates become a different type.
