We can improve the hunter latter. We should be focusing on improving ourselves now.

The hive-mind only has a stomach, and brain. What use would we have for a circulatory system? We'd only need a circulatory system if we counter-evolved. Which we didn't.

We're flat because we can be? We're a fungus-like creature, not something like an octopus. We don't need to be something with a form unless we suddenly decide to become a mobile creature like the Hunter. Only with eyes... and intestines...
Not all fungi have a form. A lot are just something like mold. I picture the hive-mind as being more of a mold, than a mushroom-like thing. You should probably read that whole article Evergod.

I agree with improving everything, but we already made a tough outer carapace, and a skeleton is useless to a fungus. Instead we should make an endocrine system.

I did, and I know, and I dont like the fact that we are flat. I only used the relevant peices of that information, Fungi & Circulatory systems. We should be more 3D because thats what looks awesome, I dont think anyone would be too terribly frightened abous some hive-mind mold, with xombi minions... (contenuing the us:real-world relations) but a huge fucking mushroom that has tentacles, and xombie minions, would be pretty damn frightening...

Just trying to set us off on the right foot, mold might be good for now, while we are still in the estuary, but once we get out on to Land, we are going to need some girth, girth only supplied by a massive creature...

Anyway, I vote for improved leaves and roots. We need a non drone dependent source of nutrition.
