I think we should create a hunter caste with the normal fish body, normal tentacles for holding prey down while it is infected/killed, leaves to get food in long expeditions, Radula back in the stomach to get the last of the food off to stretch food further, and hypnomes to give extra speed to make up for armor.

From the center of your body, a blob begins to form. To an observer (Not that there are any), the blob would appear shapeless, but little would he know about the changes being made there. Soon, but not soon enough, the blob burst, sending a horrid monstrosity into the world.

It has the shape of a fish, covered with armour plating. However, several tentacles (both poison and not) sprout from it, along with leaves to help feed it. And what a hunger it has. A hunger, partly brought by the fact that it has no intestines (It is your first try), forcing it spew its wastes out of its mouth. In other words, don't kiss it. Not that it would ever care, for instead of eyes, it has only hollow pits, and instead of seeing, it smells out its prey, no matter where it is hiding, from whence it will strike with lightning speed, due to its hyponome! (Also, no radula)

Hunter:
The form of an armoured fish, with tentacles and leaves and a hyponom. It has no eyes with which to see, instead relying on its sense of smell. Mind you, it also has to vomit to expel wastes.

Send the hunter, and 5 of your drones out to hunt. Send 10 drones out to discover new species.
Send the Nautilus out to gather nearby food for you. Have your 5 armored fish stay to guard you.
