We are a slime mold, pretty much a blob of cells that is a single step up from a cell, a stomache would be impossible ATM.

I don't mean a true stomach, I just mean to specialize some cells in digesting stuff. Trichoplax-style. Tehn we can specialize other in moving around, others in defending, or attacking (Cnidarian style) ...

Yes, I did mean rest.

I would like to say that evolution will only occur after a new member of your species is born. Luckily, you can reproduce asexually (and therefore evolve) whenever you want. Sadly, you don't evolve all that much asexually opposed to sexual reproduction (fewer chances for mutations and what not), and you need to reach size 2 before you can do so. Better get eating.

(That made sense, right?)

You go hunting. Having no senses at all, this means looking around for other multicelluar organisms, eating the stupid monocelluar organisms. You don't get much, but at least your chloroplasts are working.

You run into a blob that is much larger than you. FFFFFFF. (Random.org does not like you guys.)

As blob two is being made, you get add some specializations!

You can create one new specialized cell and organ. You can improve two specialized cells or organs.

Specialized cells:
Body cells: Flabbly, Chloroplasts

Organs: None.

Agreed. Can we get enough sustenance from our chloroplast/mitochondria combo to live, and still grab fat etc from unicellular creatures.

EDIT: Uhhh. Upgrade Chloroplasts.
