Make some DNA then.

Fine, DNA, and a more protected nucleus

The Reticulums are pretty important to the cell, and making anything useful like say... O2 resistance or virus antibodies.

You reverse engineer some DNA by using a piece of RNA and six amino acids.. Unwinding and rewinding all those NAs is tiring work, you needed to ferment 4 glucoses! You put your DNA in the nucleus. You feel smarter already.

You decide to name yourself Xeno.

You'll need some more complex proteins to improve your organelles. You could use amino acids, but that will take a lot.

Name of Species: None
Name of Cell: Xeno
DNA: 1, RNA: 5, Amino Acids: 9, Energy: 2, Glucose: 7
Simple Membrane, Simple Cytoplasm, Simple Centrosome, Simple Nucleus, Simple Chemical Detection Organelle, Simple Sensory Cilia.

Naming Species:

Tiny Lizard People (1)
Xenos Infiltratus (3)
Xenomorph (2)

Create a ribosome then. We will need an endoplasmic reticulum after that.

Code our single DNA to hold blueprints for more DNA.

Make those things that make things with RNA

Use those things, some RNA, some Amino acids and/or energy, and the coded DNA, to make: MORE DNA!!! at a lesser overall cost, (I think, unless we pulled the first one out of our theorectical asses...)

???

PROFIT!!!

[Also, would you please start posting costs of things in with the action, im tired of doing math and cellular sciences at the same damn time...]

You use four amino acids, and ferment a bit of glucose to make a ribosome. You should be able to make more complex proteins and organelles now.

Name of Species: None
Name of Cell: Xeno
DNA: 1, RNA: 5, Amino Acids: 5, Energy: 2, Glucose: 6
Simple Membrane, Simple Cytoplasm, Simple Centrosome, Simple Nucleus, Simple Chemical Detection Organelle, Simple Sensory Cilia, Simple Ribosome

We did pull the first piece of DNA out of our asses. Luckily, we can use the DNA as a blue print to make more DNA, so it's okay. (I have been posting the costs of things. I'll make it more clear if you want.)

THANK YOU! And I knew I was forgetting part of the sequence with going straight to E.R. After that we need a Golgi Body. Then create quite a few defensins. Very important defense mechanisms. And make sure to use Alpha, Beta, AND Theta defensins, so we don't end up like those stupid humans and get H.I.V.

Endoplasmic Reticulum is next. Then we could develop pili that can later be used for DNA theft(I am aware this doesn't happen in RL).

Could we also, say, create some viruses we are immune to, so that it later (Creature and Tribal stages, that is if we are using the SPORE* time scales...) can be turned into an attack?

I was more thinking of learning to grow hyphae and then fungally infecting organisms. We can then take over their minds.

You decide that now is the time for a endoplasmic reticulum. Having no complex proteins, you synthesize one out of the amino acids. And then realize that you just wasted five amino acids and a bit of glucose for not enough protein to make an endoplasmic reticulum. Damn it.

Name of Cell: Xeno
DNA: 1, RNA: 5, Proteins: 1, Energy: 2, Glucose: 5

Except by then, you may not be immune to it. (But it's worth a try.)
