I will introduce a new organism myself.

It Is LIZARD MANSs It is a being of pure mitochondri and chloroplasts! Beware its Mitonchondrianess!

1.  Locate proto-mitochondrion (probably by serendipity).
2.  Absorb.
3.  ???
4.  Profit!
5.  Free radicals/oxygen poisoning.
6.  Peroxisomes.
7.  Profit!!

(I'm back...)

You go to look for materials. Hopefully you'll run into a proto-chloroplast or something. You ferment all your glucose. After all, you don't need to make any fat, right? Right?

Losing an amazing 22 energy, you find 11 amino acids, twenty more bits of glucose, and four bits of proteins. Sweet.

However, you don't find any proto-anythings. You wonder if there is an easier way to find or detect them...

You decide that now is the time to spilt. You use 18 bits of glucose for it, along with the same number of amino acids. You give it half of your RNA to help it along before you watch (well, feel) your new friend swim off. You are tired, but feel secure that there's another member of your species (Which you decide to call Xenos Infiltratus), incase you die.

You burn another bit of glucose, and go looking for more materials. Four more amino acids, and three more bits of glucose.

Name of Species: Xenos Infiltratus
Number of cells: 2 (Basicly, an indication of how good I think you are doing, and a list of potential backups.)
Name of Cell: None
DNA: 1, RNA: 2, Amino Acids: 6, Protein: 4, Energy: 2, Glucose: 4
Simple Membrane, Simple Cytoplasm, Simple Centrosome, Simple Nucleus, Simple Chemical Detection Organelle, Simple Sensory Cilia.

Consume LIZARD MANSs. (It's not his name unless capitalized and underlined.)

We'll have to find them first. Find them and their damn oxygen production.

Develop Oxygen Resistance, then search out materials and create a ribosome. We need proteins before we can get very far.

we cannot develop resistances to anything untill we become more complex! How fucking hard is it to READ the IMPORTANT PARTS?!

You search around, looking for something living. You chase a few small cells down, not much, but you get two amino acids, six chunks of fat, and four bits of glucose, though you need to ferment all of the glucose and one more just to power everything. Man, chasing cells is hard.

You lack any sort of way to make complex organelles, or improve your current ones, so you make a ribosome out of four amino acids, and a bit of glucose.

While a ribosome is cool, an endoplasmic reticulum is even better. You use half (two) of your proteins and most of your amino acids (three), powering everything by cannibalizing a chunk of fat.

Finally, you use a bit of glucose and a protein to improve your sensory cilia. You can now tell where the water is being disturbed, instead of just a simple direction.

Spoiler: That's much better (click to show/hide)

Use fat to grow a little bit, contenue searching, now that we can 'see' things, we should chase slower things...
