BRAIN!!!
Hyphae

Better Chloroplasts
Better Nerves
This. Also, specialize some nerves to send out and receive sound.

Create a neural network that could be improver into a brain and nervous system.

Create brain.
Improve tentacles. IE, make them stronger and give them hardened tips so they can penetrate the other blobs out there easier and we can move around easier.

This seems to be the most favorable course of improvements for our current blob.

I thought we had a discussion going about having two different sets of brains. Oh well, regular brain/ears coming up!

Electric brain will do for now, we will develop the chemical later, to become sentient...

Blob v4.1:

Specialized cells:
Body cells: Lean, Grippy
Poison cells: Reproductive Poison
Green cells: Great Chloroplasts (+2.0 food a turn)
Neurons: Good Connections
Sensory nerves: Has tiny hairs that allows you to (barely) hear.

Organs:
Brain: Small, but it's a start.
Poison tentacles: Made out of poison cells. Better chance to poison things.
Leaves: Made out of green cells. Helps to hold food. Helps to see. (Additional +0.5 food a turn)
Hyphae: Anchors yourself to the seafloor.

What Evergod said, but we should hunt at least half of what we find.

Ah. It's nice to do some photosynthesis. But soon, far too soon, it is time to start reproducing. You then realize the sucky part about hyphae. You can't move. FFFFFFFFFF (What did you expect to happen when you gained hyphae?)

Well, live and adapt, that was always your motto. At least your leaves attract some blobs... Err, jawless fishes, so your poison tentacles are still useful. Soon enough, you've infected enough fish to evolve again.

The gods, smiling on you immobile plight, allows you to specialize two more cells, create two more organs, and improve four more cells/organs. Hopefully you'll spend it on something that alliviates the boredom of being a plant.

Create simple ears
Create an organ that attracts blobs and stuff to us

Specialize more into poison
Specialize body cells that give us a simple camouflage

Improve our hyphae, brain, tentacles, and leaves

Contributing!

We should lengthen our poison tentacles, and create energy storage (fat) cells, to better endure sunless periods.

Create drone-like second part that can split off if you're bored and want to look around.

Lengthening the poison tentacles is implied in improving them. We COULD use an energy storage, but as long as we keep eating fish, and blobs that pass by we SHOULD theoretically make enough to last a while. A good idea nevertheless.

uhm, I didn't know hyphae MADE us immobile... so... uhm... try to reverse that! or at least make it so we can 'walk' with our tendrils...
