Primative central nervous system.
Poison tentacles: Made out of poison cells. Better chance to poison things.
Green blobs: Made out of green cells. Can be improved into leaves etc. Helps to hold food.
Pseudofoot: Allows you to grip and attach to stuff.

Add a reproductive virus type parasite to the poison in our tentacles, so that if we poison something but don't eat it, small blobs will grow inside the corpse and burst forth with the joy of parent hood.

It appears to be some sort of rocky outcropping. A few blobs float around, and the water is a lot warmer, but no much else.
