Physical connections are so last evolution, we need to develop psychic connections and gravitic sensor networks. Actually, that is all too complicated, physical connections and brute force are the way of the future, nobody will be prepared for it!

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I had to. Plus, I had to see the reactions to it. This actually isn't all that old of a thread to necro anyway.

Don't worry, I'm making a never evolution thread as we speak! It's right here.

Oh god. Remember the schoolbus? I liked the schoolbus.

Also, USEC, that is a great looking game. I might join up. :D

Oh god yes. I only hope that something like that will appear in the next game. Maybe as an easter egg or something. I'll going to steer the new one from all that bio-engineering Jethro did.

Maybe one of the bio-engineered creatures got loose, but still inherited some of that evolution power?

Edit: Also, I should probably try to not let the people in my game do that. They're getting ever closer to bio-engineering. They enjoy ripping the DNA out of things.

Well, the game is going to take place on a different planet. Jethro did take over the old one...

Well, the game is going to take place on a different planet. Jethro did take over the old one...

But we could have Jethro killed off by the aliens or whatever. After he is killed, the hivemind breaks apart, all the spaceships and constructs fall to pieces/begin orbiting in massive belts of matter, and the creatures evolve independent of the hive, ultimately becoming new species of their own.

The primary opposing species could be ones that Jethro created or new forms of old ones, like some sort of horrid eldritch legacy for Jethro's death throes.

Maybe just a fragment of Jethro breaks apart or something. I have plans for the little guy. Though then again, Jethro needed to develop faster-than-light travel to co-ordinate the different planets he took over. Perhaps a scout ship fleet was intercepted and destroyed? That could work...

I'll keep that in mind. It could make for an interesting game/setting.

It was the year 3015, one of great darkness. It was then that the great ships descended, smothering the planet in their shadow.

Would it be a Jethropocalypse?

3015 years since when?

Would it be a Jethropocalypse?

I hope so.
