Not all of them, just weapons, and some escort craft.
Fleet time: Construct no less than 24 military vessels.
Protoypes:
Cephalocarrier:
Giant octopus, it stores smaller vessels inside its body and hurls them out using its arms. It is armoured with thick layers of gelatinous material that is studded with hard plates and woven with strong meshes. Propelled using steam jets and can expel a massive cloud of dust capable of obscuring an entire fleet. Equipped with significant sensory apparatus and colour changing skin.
Cephaloscuttler: Launched by Cephalocarrier.
A crab, remodelled to survive in a vacuum and survive extreme deceleration, with squid mouth and legs in place of crab legs. Back armour massively built up, capable of regenerating, and sharpened to a dull point. Capable of propulsion using jets of steam. Has several small additional tentacles which shoot acid-laden darts. When launched at a target, will attempt to collide with it back-first, reach around and grab with its barbed tentacles, and cut a means of access using its beak. If it enters a target it will use high-velocity punching claws to disable threats and tentacle and beak to destroy them. Once a target is disabled they will leave it and seek other targets.
Jellymind:
Giant jellyfish, modified for massive redundancy, has massive sensory and mental abilities, projects a network of highly toxic tentacles with explosive nodules beyond its body for close defence. Maintains connection to other capital vessels via many small tentacles. Uses these to enhance the other vessels existing abilities by providing shared sensory and status reports along with superior mental abilities when appropriate.
Picket vessel:
Colony of small organisms. Coral-like creatures produce layers of hardened material for armour with spider-creatures knitting webs of reinforcement throughout it. Internal colony of crabs that contain dense explosives and single-use high-velocity punching claws. These crabs walk to the outside of the shell and launch themselves at targets. Worms live in the armour and convey sensory data. A communion of self-contained jellies combine to perform mental processes, with a single jelly barely able to return to the cover of their fleet but dozens resulting in a formidable tactician. Propulsion provided by many shell-creatures that live on the surface, and expel high-pressure material when appropriate. Atmosphere maintained by an ant colony that forms stiff coverings ofer air breaches and manoeuvres around creatures to allow them to pass without venting atmosphere.
