You idea-stealer you! read the precursor posts! Anyway, we could probably create a host of different blimpski variants, with different tasks. Scouting, high-altitude resource collection, SPACEFLIGHT OF DOOM (we'd need a few adaptations more for that to work)

Well, I don't think you spoke about hydrogen (We just need colonies of hydrogen-producing bacteria) or the way to feed the blimpski. Let's call it a join project.

Anyway, scouting and long-distance transport (using the jet streams) seems like the most relevent use for now. We'll adapt them to space later on.

Well as for the space flight we could take some of those bugs that shoot out chemicals and maybe modify them into some sort of engine. Though we'll probably need some other more advanded stuff too. And then we could find a wooly bear like creature and some extremophiles to allow the space creatures to survive in a vacuum

Space is several pages away. For now, blimps FTW!

We could fill a blimpski's airsack with acids (with proper adaptation of the airsack so it won't rupture on creation) and use them for bombs! Extra points for carrying them into the tunnels in APC's!

Well, Blimpski should be as light as possible for a start. Bombs can come in later.

Also, we will end in space. Because we can't!

I think the expression goes: 'Because we can.' or 'YES. WE. CAN!' or 'THIS. IS. WITHIN THE REALM OF POSSIBILITIES!'

I'd really rather not have our drones, and other such things named after Starcraft vehicles. So N.

Or fill it with poison! Make a bunch of small ones that explode and spray poison over things they hit.

No wait, I thought of something better...Blimpski blowfish, with poison-covered needles! They fly through the air looking for a target, and when they find one they just fly into it to infect it.

And Y.
