You use some of the chunks of fat you have to make yourself larger. (Great. Now I have to add sizes to this as well.)

Now that you can kinda 'see' things, you chase the slower cells. It turns out that the slower cells are big (Which makes sense, as all the smaller, slower cells would already be eaten.) You just barely consume one of these cells, but you get a lump of protein and RNA, eight amino acids, two bits of glucose (Which you had to ferment to get your energy back) and four chunks of fat.

Your simple chemical detection organelle detects what may be a higher amount of oxygen. But it's not really sensative to tell though.

You use the last of your glucose (You can always cannibalize a chunk of fat), along with a protein to improve your chemical detection powers. It now should be sensative enough that you can tell the different between cells by their waste products, but only if you are close enough.

Yep. There more oxygen. And it seems to be coming from the cells above you. (At the top of the map. You know what I mean.)

Nononono, we'll die of oxygen poisoning. Go towards them and collect some non oxygen for food. Eat the cells in an attempt to get chloroplasti.

Follow oxygen source, and ask it if it knows where we can find mitochondria.

As you get closer to one of the cells, it just stays there. However, the amount of burning oxygen is amazing. You burn an entire chunk of fat, just so you can get in and out as quickly as Xenosly possible. Still, you have to shrink down a bit, inorder to replace the oxidized bits.

You start to eat the thing, until you realize that it just produced a bit of energy. Realizing that this is a proto-Chloroplast, you keep it, but smother it to prevent it from poisoning you.

You'll need a lot more protein to recreate it's oxygen resistance.

Eat more cells to get more protein, then get oxygen resistance, then un-smother the chloroplast.

Also get more flagella, so we can use less energy getting around.

You use the last bit of your protien to make some simple flagella. That should help you along.

You hunt some more cells for enough protein to develop oxygen resistance. You skirt along the right part of the big oxygen producers, who are all cluster together. You get two bits of protein, not nearly enough, along with 3 bits of glucose (fermented of energy), 7 bits of amino acids, and finally, 4 chunks of fat, all from one cell. You remember what its wastes were, for future reference.

You turn most (15) of your amino acids into protein (three). Finally having enough to develop oxygen resistance, you use all of it to do so (along with two chunks of fat.)

Unsmothering the chloroplast, you get some energy from it. Only one, but it's a start. At least you can not worry about oxygen anymore.
