Go back to the starting point and progress to the right. We need to find some rodents soon, we haven't eaten once since the start of the stage.

Well I guess we should of expected this since whatever lives in their probably was the one who dug it. But now t=theres a possibility that it is now inside of the burrow now so should we try shooting poison down there again?

Yes, enter the hole and infect all that you see.

We did take the right path. It led here.

You attempt to climb down the hole, to find whatever made it. As you climb deeper and deeper, it gets darker and darker, and soon, it is impossible for you to see anything but the point of light that is the sky. Further down, the shaft turns to rock, and eventually into a U-pipe. Cold, dark water sits at the bottom of the U-pipe, but doesn't touch the top of the U-pipe. In other words, there's a gap between the two.

You stand there, pondering what to do.

We haven't once taken a right. We've gone left, and followed footprints.

You head down the left path. It is quite long, but your eel is quite slow. (As for its size, about that of a human.) Suddenly, the path ends. As the eel sits there, wondering what to do, one of its tentacles gets chopped off. Ouch.
You head left, and soon come to the dead body of your first scout. Poor guy, all his tentacles chopped off. Oddly, you find no bite marks on the body.
You stealthily attempt to follow the second set of foodprints. Being a crab, this is very hard. Eventually, more footprints appear, heading in the same direction as the set that you are following. Soon, they lead to a dark hole in the ground.

The hole, no wait, it is more like a shaft. Anyways, the shaft descends straight into the earth. It is far too dark for you to see the bottom. Looking around, you spot even more sets of footprints that lead to this spot. Whatever it is, its very popular.

I think he meant we made the right choice in paths.

Oh. Did I forget to mention that the second set of footprints goes to the same place as the pathway that goes to the right? Sorry about that.

This is one confusing land mass, makes for a lot of random fun though.

Just have Crabby McTentacles familiarize himself with the pipes for now.

we're still actualy the hivemind controling all this remotely right?

make two more similar crabs: one with better armor and weapons, and one pecialized in colecting DNA samples.

Here's a fun fact: Ian Anderson, the singer and flautist for Jethro Tull, hated the name Jethro!

I just that'd be... y'know... interesting...

I'll be quite now.

You create two more crabs, one that is more deadly in combat, and one that can easily extract DNA.

The first crab slides into the water. Unsurprisingly, it can see anything in the darkness. It swims around a bit, not really finding anything as it blunders around in the darkness, since it is not adapted to the darkness. However, it eventually pokes its head up out on the other side of the pipe. Well, you think it is the other side, there is no piece of sky above its head.

Now what?
