Hey, how will terrain figure into this?

I'd like to see heavy infantry and peasants holing themselves up in a city whilst cavalry founders at the gates, stuff like that.

I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.

This looks pretty cool.

What are you going for Meph, Fantasy or Historical?

Terrain will come in with the tactical cards.

@Dwarmin: I'm going for more historical, although I'm not going to stress too much about being 100% accurate.

Did some work on the script this week. It'll take a while to finish, but it should be pretty powerful and allow for a lot of flexibility.

Units are probably fine with the 19 I have for now. I can add more later.

Next up I'm going to figure out the Tactical items for the battlefield. So, types and condition. (Hilltop with foggy weather, for example)

After that I'll work on the Tactical items for units. (Formations, special maneuvers, etc.)

Feel free to make suggestions and whatnot.

Interesting... Though I would have to say that ANY unit that has Reach should have a Bonus towards Mounted units...

Even Peasantry with pitchforks are able to demount a Knight on Horseback and kill one if there is enough of them, pretty much a Kitten (Not DF Kind) could kill a Knight if he was on the ground and couldn't get up fast enough (Slightly over exaggerated), which is kinda hard to do when you wear all that armour...

Very true. The billhook was a weapon specifically designed to be used against Heavy cavalry. It was a polarm, to allow use in a phalanx, and it had a hook like end which the sodier used to hook through a slit in the knights armour and drag him off his horse and to the ground. Knights in that much armour had trouble getting on their horses, let alone getting off the floor. This gave a billman ample time to kill him.
