It doesn't actually, it's just that the linking system seems have been broken for jumping to the correct thread page. That link is for message number 7881103, which I can confirm is by Kagus. However, clicking the link takes you a few pages after the quote. I've noticed this recently, but it seems links within the Ameripol thread are screwing up and don't take you to the correct post.

Thats because of all the purges that take place there.  When the Grand Toad obliterates a post, the post id and number gets retired, spanked, and wrung out to dry on the towel rack of shame for all eternity.  But it still maintains its id.  And links can get wonky, wherein they muss with the links directed into these threads with heavy purges.

One reason that conflicted threads dont survive.
