"Mochi" is rice cake, so the cake is there.

Rice cake is cake like funerals are fun.

It depends on who's the cake?

Anyway, downloading now. Sounds similar to sand toys et cetera and nauseum, but the comment about steam engines made me interested.

I'm pretty sure you really can cook rice in this. (Water + rice + heat seems to alter the rice somewhat)

How do you alter the "User's"? I don't see anything for making alternate materials.

Neat trick: The menu itself can punt things. For example, if you set up a screen-spanning heater at the bottom, a screen-spanning cooler at the top, and let water bounce back and forth between them, some water will end up on top of the cooler. Turn off the Basic Menu, and then turn it back on... :D

The user is a user controlled thing, not user made substance, you make those by pressing escape then the hotkeys for the elements you want in it.

You can drag most image format files onto the OE-CAKE window, pasting the image with whatever material you currently have selected. Transparency is preserved. You do NOT want to know what it is possible to do with clever usage of the replace tool and some ingenuity. NSFW doesn't even begin to cover it.

Also, the app itself is old - there's now its successor, Physios Studio (IIRC). It's nice, more or less, but is completely borked by the need to register on the site, AND log in through the app itself every time you start it. And beyond some questionable capabilities, I don't think it's even improved that much.

edit: correction: "PHYZIOS Studio". It's in beta now.

That is because there is no actual 'fire'. The fire substance is just fuel which happens to be burning. If you dump it in water, it stops burning.

If you want a powerful bomb, make PETID, just don't make pieces too large and don't drop it much.

If you want a fun (albeit CPU-intensive) brownian motion screensaver, turn off gravity, set up chunks of Mochi, Water, Tensile, and Brittle, arranged around a chunk of Jet/Gas. Then right-click-drag a little of the JG towards the Mochi. If the initial contact doesn't cause all hell to break loose, keep at it until it does. Then watch as the poor chunk of Brittle is torn apart by the raging maelstrom.

Extra physics fun: make a container using Wall that spans half the screen (top open). Make a hole in its side near the bottom, as large as you want. Span that hole with a BSD compound. Now fill the container with water, slowly so as not to overstress the breakable plug. Once it's full, try to determine the minimum size for a PETID bomb that will cause a breach, or the minimum amount of liquid fire that will accomplish that. Remember that the tilde key activates the fire spout, if you need excessive quantities. And remember to turn the Drain on.

Definitely going to try this when I get home. It sounds like pretty good fun.

I could just play with real fire and water I guess, but it's probably not a good idea.
