Anyone know if material density affects a pick's damage?  I think I may draft a legendary miner, kit him out in steel, and see if he can break sieges.

Only champions can equip artifacts, and yes, material does affect damage. Gold is pretty heavy, but I don't know if density affects damge done by picks positively. Were it a hammer, it would certainly be good. As a pick, it may or may not be awesome.

Ha, right, I know. I just meant that he's both holding and using it. Still haven't had a chance tgo test the weapon effectiveness.

I tested it, it's weaker than a steel pick, stronger than an iron pick.
