Holy shit, I've never seen so many zombies made by chryssalids while still having survivors. Definitely some good writing.

Would you mind telling me who all was injured and how? The ones that lived, of course. The Most Dangerous Game is about to get a whole lot more dangerous.

Why does Phantom always have to be the survivor?
Sure, Adrian Shephard survived Black Mesa along with a few other HECU Marines, but noooo...
Barbarossa, do I get a few points for surviving a Chryssallid Plague?

Also, as insurance and to bolster troop numbers, can I have a soldier called Ghost serve along Phantom? He should be a Heavy Weapons Guy.

Also: Phantom's recording of his opinion on what happened.
"Why am I and Frank the last original survivors? Dammit, first Black Mesa and it's goddamn headcrabs and now these things!"
Phantom tips over one of the bunks.
"GODDAMMIT."
"Phantom, what the hel-OHSHIT." Phantom punches The Poet in the face.
"We're all gonna die, we're all gonna DIE."
"Quick, grab him!"
"Get your fucking hands off me-AUGH."
Event ends with Phantom in psychiatric care for 10 hours.

Also: Skull shaped explosions, heh.

No! Johannes! Why did he have to die? Well, the story was so cool it was worth it.

The only person who got injured and survived was Phantom, one shot to the torso in Power Armor.

Also, if you look at that little mini-map picture near the end, you'll see that there's a street to the south, and beyond that I remember some houses. My best guess would be that all the Chryssalids spawned there, along with a nice helping of civilians to zombify. While the second team tried to clear the apartment block east, the first team set up a defensive line, which was promptly overwhelmed by sheer numbers. Through it all, I only saw one civilian body on the street, meaning that everyone else got zombified.

As a sidenote, the best way to deal with Chryssalids is to form a line and hit 'end turn' - Chryssalids and zombies are usually scared away by reaction fire.

Well, I'm glad to see this is going as well as any good X-Com game should. I guess this recent mission leaves you needing recruits, so:

Name: Rion Chrisson
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Alignment: Arch-Conservative
Bio: A Paranoid-Scizophrenic Reactionary who's spent his entire adult life hiding in the backwoods of the southern United States, waiting and preparing for "Them" to institute a New World Order and try to take people who knew the truth like him away to FEMA Death Camps. Learned about X-COM through online information gathering after Havana was nuked, due to the organization's increasing inability to maintain secrecy. Remembering an incident several years ago where he hacked apart a stranded Sectoid scout apart with an axe after finding it trying to steal his solar panels, Rion promptly decides that X-COM must be one of the only resistance movements against "Them", and decides to approach the group of his own accord. X-COM has absolutely no idea of how insane and deluded he really is.

Heh, I want to see what happens if you use the Ressurect Zombified Agents glitch.

Just mind control the zombie, kill it, and tada, permanently controlled Chrysallid. Just don't shoot it after you spawn it. I believe if we used it on Johannes, and everyone else, some interesting dialogue can be made out of that.
