I have just arrived here at this fortress, and I am trying to get my berings on this place. I stumbled upon the hospital, where I saw a dwarf missing one of his hands, and a dwarf whose ebtire lower body had been torn apart! These fellows also seem to have multiple goblin execution rooms; a tower with a pit in the middle, and some tunnels with ballistas pointed into them. Both are riddled with dead goblins, and are quite the morbib scene. They have eight smelters, two glass furnaces, and two stills! And that is just in what I have seen! Which is certainly not all of it! How many of each workshop could you possibly need?! I went to get a drink to help me cool down after all these shocking sights, and there was barely any booze! What kind of people live here, Elves?!
Alright, this place is in incredible need of leadersip, and I am sure that is why I was sent here. Time to get to work! Before I do though, time to look around a bit more. I looked for the Depot, but it was nowhere to be found. I looked down a winding staircase, which only led to a cave system, which was littered with dead Batmen. I found it near the hospital, how did I miss that? Am I really fit to be leading a fortress, when I even can't find the Trade Depot? I suppose I'll find out!
The manager came to me today, and told me the production of soap had been completed. What surprises me, is that soap was being made! I suppose those fellows in the hospital might need some, but when you make soap, everyone under your rule tells you that they can't access the site! What does that even mean?!
The manager tells me that all of the dwarves here are complaining that there is no ballista ammunition. I sure am glad that I have her; I don't know if I could take dealing with peoples compaints all day. I wonder how she does it?
There is so little entertainment around here; out of desperation I had a goblin thrown into th execution tower. It was quite amusing; he
rancrawled around panicking that he was drowning and half his limbs were broken. Watching his blood be washed down the river was incredibly satisfying.
As it turns out, it was just the fishery worker and the furnace operator complaing about the lack of ballista ammo. I should have them thrown into the execution tower. Nah, that would be a waste of labor. Also, sping has already ended! My time ruling this place seems to be flying by! Alright, spring hasn't quite ended, but theres only a few days left.
