Hmmm, that probably means overcoming the friction on the wheels, possibly with assistance from the rest of the train... I doubt that Strelok's armour would be worth much against that much force concentrated into a fist.

In Strelok's last battle, there were some magical artifacts involved, if I remember correctly.
It would be awesome if someone explained those.

Ahem.
Did somebody mention Artifacts? Because Artifacts aren't really artifacts in the natural sense, they're weird looking items that give you a boost and such.
For example, a Spring Artifact would work quite well against any blunt attacks I assume, since it makes people resistant to gravity damage. Like falling off a cliff.

Here's a list, but I only assume we're using the Shadow of Chernobyl ones.

Stop a train from moving? Like standing in front of over a hundred tonnes of material traveling at over a hundred kilometers per hour and having it just stop when it hits you? Because friction will stop a train by itself if given enough time and a lack of propulsion. Or do we mean "more powerful than a locomotive" which would bear an unfortunate resemblance to the description of superman, who is explicitly overpowered.
Here's how it went down. There was this train, you see, and it was full of passengers while going at roughly 60mph (highway speed for cars in the US). Hikaider (Kikaida's arch-nemesis) was trying to escape on this train, but Dr. Gil wanted to stop his greatest creation from escaping. He had his mooks blow up the bridge over the upcoming canyon, and the train conductor saw this from about half a mile away. He started to brake the train, but trains take forever to stop. Kikaida swooped in and started pushing on the front of the train, feet dragging along the rails. It stopped (very dramatically) right before falling off, Kikaida being pushed off the very end and flying away.

Superman stopped trains in way less than half a mile. His feet just weren't metal so he couldn't slide along.

Probably too late, I'm guessing.
What character, if I may ask?

I have been considering starting a fight to the death the third, if people are interested. Having taken part in two of these so far, There are a few issues that I have noticed:
-Only one fight goes at a time
-A single overpowered character has the potential to ruin the tournament for the rest of the characters
-If a character loses even once, they are out forever.
I have therefore come up with a plan for a third one, which seeks to adress these issues:
Spoiler: proposition (click to show/hide)
So, would people be up for it?

I'd do that, and I would be willing to judge, though only if no one less inherently biased is willing.

I suggest that characters are eliminated at level -1 instead, so that they aren't out if they lost their first match.
That's up to you, of course.

If you do make a third, could you post here letting us know, please?

They be eliminated it they lose a match at level 0. Since they start at level 1, they would not be out if they lose their first match.

I'd be very much up for that. Since I consider myself to be fairly objective, I also request a judge position. And yes, the rules sound plausible, but there need to be some changes.

For example, after 4 rounds some levels will contain an odd number of participants.
I think we need to eliminate the elimination principle. Since participants don't die anyway, why not let them remain at level 0? Just have a no-rematches rule, and eventually characters will even out according to their strength level. To make matters more lively, allow characters who can't fight anyone on their current level challenge those on a level above them, so that characters who are actually strong don't get stuck on a lower level due to a limitation of the system while a weaker character makes it to the top through luck.
