The Alien is whatever sort of alien it was during it's last fight.

That makes no sense. It could be anything.

It doesn't make sense that the Alien fighting in round two now would be the same alien that was fighting in round one against Reisen?

What page? That would suck that the alien is gonna get murdered because it can't preapare.

I can't really see it. Seems you have come up with the fact they can spit acid, dig, and know where you are almost all the time.

The alien is the same one from the first fight.

Personally, I think that the alien has an advantage in terrain here, being an ambush predator by nature.

Question here, are the contestants given another research period after winning their fight, or is it just the first three days at the start?

Here's how I see this going:

Razor doesn't know which thing he's fighting, so he begins to hunt for his opponent.
The Xenomorph stalks Razor, who doesn't know what's best to detect it because he doesn't know who/what he's fighting, until his guard is down, he sleeps, he eats, he drinks something, whatever makes him vulnerable, and it goes for the kill.
It kills him, because his guard is down and it's a fucking Xenomorph making a surprise attack.

Sits down. *ROAR* Xenomorph jumps from 30 feet away and stabs him in the head. I'm just imagining that.

I don't think our combatants are entering the field dead tired and hungry. The alien's gotta eat too, and if Razor hadn't run into anything by the time he needed sleep, I think he'd be smart enough to figure that he's fighting somebody either really lost or really stealthy. Also, how loud is this alien? In the movies they can be quiet but in certain occasions, and all the time in the games, they just don't shut up.

Quiet when they want to. The alien can wait for a creature to come by then spit acid on it.

Also, how loud is this alien? In the movies they can be quiet but in certain occasions, and all the time in the games, they just don't shut up.

I assume that the alien would be more stealthy if it was actively stalking something, as opposed to just tracking it from a distance.

Especially if it's "*ROAR*->*Pounce*", the Alien will be in trouble. Razor does have reflexes good enough to dodge something with a half-second warning. At range, the Alien can use the speed to its advantage, but up close Razor will hit it with the first thing that comes handy. Likely his foot, then the turboblades while it's getting up. The 'Kats usually don't kill, but that never applied to monsters, so Razor won't even hesitate to use lethal force.

Uh, if Razor wears armor environment-specific protection suits, all this will do is burn through it and possibly mess him up a bit. And the Alien will be no less dead when Razor chops it to pieces; or better yet, SHOOTS A MISSILE AT IT.
