I'm pulling for Razor. The Alien here is just a drone-dangerous, but with Razor's weapons, skills and intelligence, it's dead meat.it
Xenomorphs are, in fact a bit overrated. Thier strength is in numbers and suprise. And there's only one here, and for surprise-Razor is the craftier of the two Kats. He might surprise IT.

Redalertfan- The First alien slaughtered a bunch of miners who their company didn't give guns to. (possibly so their specimen wouldnt be damaged)

The 2nd movie, the Marines slaughtered hordes of aliens, but that was because they were being controlled more directly by a queen. But all the marines died in the end...

The 3rd movie, another single alien...slaughtered a bunch of prisoners.

So, the way I see it-lots of aliens are dumb but persistent, a single one is alot smarter on its own, but no match for a trained soldier like razor. Maybe.

EDITEDIT: Dont Aliens use some kind of echolocation or heat sense? I havnt played AVP though...lol

All of those were on a ship or a military base. I'm not certain but the alien can make hive webbing that heals it and could use it's acid to dig and attack. Now, what does Razor have?

Razor has dozens upon dozens of gadgets. By the way, nowhere have I found a quote that says the Alien is actively healed by the hive. And for that matter, the acid is also its BLOOD. It can't dig for any useful distance using that stuff.

Another thing: Its vision that spots prey isn't all-seeing. It goes for about 100 feet, maybe a bit more, then it stops. The Alien would have to be reasonably close before it spotted Razor. And by then Razor could have already found it.

I'm certain that a SWAT Kat would have access to a motion tracker, and a better one than the crappy stuff marines were given. He'd know from what direction the Alien was coming, and thanks to the lack of multiple levels (remember: jungle, not ship) he would find it pretty quickly, at which point he could shoot it. Now I could be wrong, but I swear Razor had a gun that shot, well, razors at some point. Though I may be imagining it, if I'm right it's the perfect anti-Alien weapon.

I'd have to say, guns that shoot bullets wouldn't be as effective. The acid for blood would dissolve the bullet after it goes so far. I'm pretty sure aliens can vomit it to.

Well, let's see. First of all, the Glovetrix. This is a steel gauntlet packed with a lot of stuff. Katscanner (warm-blooded creature-finder), folding steel buckler, grappling claw, blowtorch, minimissiles, mini cement launcher (cement as in concrete), mini turboblades (think flechette gun, but with flat razors), launchable circular saw, mini octopus missiles (grab and push the target), minu tar-pedoes (launches a glob of tar, usually to blind), plus likely something else I forgot. Ah right, waterjet for underwater propulsion.

The Kats' helmets have triangular flashlights in them, and they carry deltapacks (compact paragliders).

Now, what razor is LIKELY to bring along? For one, he could, conceivably, fly in on an Ejektor Seat from the plane. Or just have one of the inconsistently-appearing jetpacks they use. He could bring a Kat Launcher, which would allow him to use normal-sized missiles from the Turbokat. Mostly, I think he would bring himself some sort of armor, maybe a variant of that temperature-resistant suit he used in "Volcanus Erupts". He could make something else if given three days, he's really a good inventor.

ninja edit: Razor COULD develop a motion-scanner, but nothing of the sort was ever used in the show.

No allies, so that's right out. And they never really carry tools with them, so he's stuck stark naked. His natural abilities are pretty much all he has.

I think we're limited to only one entrant. Otherwise, Razor would've brought Cybertron. Or Cybertron 2, though that might be pushing the size limits "a bit".

i'm starting to think that razor may be op.....
Everyone here is mentoind the millions of gadgets he has, varying from advanced motion sensors to some high tech blast weaponrt and plus they also say a lot stuff about him being trained etc.
I'd say the alien will win this 1 why? well aliens don't tend to go in wide open areas so a jungle fight WILL happen, there are a lot of trees so aiming will be vry hard, heat sensors wont work because aliens dont have any kind of heat, they are extremly agile and sneaky.
I saw all the movies that contained aliens in it and i must say even they sometimes got discovered they still managed to incapite 2-3 people and gt away safely....

I've mention pretty much ALL of the gadgets Razor could conceivably pack on him. Well, not counting basic tools - those seem to be on him everywhere. Makes sense, he's the plane's repairman. And I still think Razor doesn't have much of an edge here (hehe, pun), because the Alien is so good at hiding and ambushing. It's a very nasty monster, and like I said earlier, there's no Plot Armor here. If the Alien attacks in the open, it's toast. If it stays hidden until Razor walks by, it wins.

It doesn't make sense that the Alien fighting in round two now would be the same alien that was fighting in round one against Reisen?
