Marx may look kinda big in the cutscenes of K:SS(U), but you have to remember that Kirby is eight inches tall.

Humans are (on average) 5'8"-ish. Divide this by four. You get 17 inches, or 1'5". If Kirby is at least eight inches tall, then Marx is at least 16 inches tall, as shown by this picture. I think if he raised his wings, he'd hit 17.

I'm very resistant to disqualifying contestants now that the contest has started. How about we scale up marx so that he's within the acceptable ranges? (By my reckoning, he would be about three feet tall, not including wings if we were to do that)

One of the problems with marx flying is that "Fly an arbitrarily high distance over the island and proceed to bombard it entirely" becomes a valid tactic, which I'm not happy with.

But if the both have ways of flying in the air, maneuverability and aim come into play. Marx could probably take way sharper turns due to not being able to pass out from the force of the turns. (He has no blood.) With that, he could outflank Alex and gun him down with whatever ranged attacks he has, while Alex futilely tries to hit back.

Or Alex could, you know, stay on the ground and just punch rocks at him. I don't think Marx is anywhere near fast enough to avoid the kind of shots that Armstrong throws. Then when Marx inevitably falls to the ground, stunned, Armstrong deconstructs him with a punch.
