Just because we don't explicitly see the effects of explosives doesn't mean they don't have an effect.

The pumpkin bombs are seen to explode on contact, so the punisher does not have to worry about them bouncing off the shield.

The pumpkin bombs are also a lot more fiery than your average explosive. Compare Pumpkin bomb to a modern grenade.

I'm sure you had some sort of relevance in mind, but why would the Punisher use Pumpkin bombs?

Though I agree that the Hobgoblin would make a nice contestant here. Or the Green Goblin.

It's on his wiki page that he uses pumpkin bombs.

I disagree too, but it has been called and the game gets boring if people don't accept the results.

Mr. Miyagi kills Eddie Riggs because Eddie Riggs makes too much noise and isn't willing to stop half-way through a chord. Otherwise the supernatural powers would beat the mundane human...

Riggs' guitar wouldn't work on the island, but I'm sure he knows this and would just use his non-guitar axe.
No matter how good a martial artist Mr Miyagi is, he's an old man without any special abilities.
There's no way he could stand up to a battle axe.
Meanwhile, being a roadie and such, it's entirely likely that Eddie wouldn't even bring his guitar, this being a tropical island and all, so he would lose all encumbrance that would be gained from carrying it around.

There's no way he could stand up to a battle axe.
1. Eddie swings his axe at Miyagi
2. Miyagi catches the axe by the handle
3. Miyagi flips Eddy upside down and stands on his neck.
4. Miyagi tweaks Eddy's nose.

Disabling someone still counts for those who don't normally kill, right?

Yes, but Eddie Riggs is not the same as a cocky high schooler who's learned some martial arts. He's not trained, but Riggs has proven on the battlefield that he can stand up to and defeat the most powerful of that world's foes. One highly skilled old man is nothing to him, a mini boss at most. Of course, considering he's not evil Eddie would probably smack him once to knock him out and carry him out the portal with him, considering he's a pretty nice guy for the game setting.

Mike, Snake, and Mike's Trainer were not mere high-school mooks. They were black belts of Karate, of the Cobra Kai style. (Anything to win.) If you can take three of those, you can take one guy with an axe.

Not only did he take out those three, he took out the Dojo Master of Cobra Kai in a very short time. The Drum Technique is powerful indeed.

I'm sorry, but you're really overestimating Mr. Miyagi here. He is obviously a master, but he's also a very old man. He can only do so much in comparison to Eddie, who could easily smash him in a single blow.

And another matter, why can't he use his guitar? One chord would be enough to incapacitate Miyagi.

Miyagi's a very old man. The chord couldn't be that loud.

As I said, he absorbed several blows from the master of Cobra Kai, who was easily 25+ years younger than him, before crushing him utterly. Drum Technique.

I'm confused - from what I can tell, eddie is just a roadie (but a damn fine roadie at that), yet there is a picture of him with a giant axe, and there are references to him "defeat[ing] the most powerful of that world's foes". What powers and abilites does he have?

Brutal Legend is the story of Eddie Riggs, a roadie who is sucked into a magical world where humanity is enslaved by an evil overlord with an immense army. It's pretty much one of those crazy 80s metal album covers come to life. Eddie is the best fighter and one of the leaders of the human resistance. He wields a double-edged, MASSIVE battle axe called the Separator. He also wields a magic guitar called Clementine that calls down lightning to electrocute enemies. He fights off demon lords with these weapons, mind you, which is why I say Miyagi is no match for him.

Miyagi can do karate 'fast as lightning', so I'm pretty sure he can dodge it by the time Eddie 'calls it down'.

The bigger the weapon, the easier it is to slap out of somebody's hands.

Eddie's guitar relies on the HEAVY METAL POWER of the world.
And 'fast as lightning' is a hyperbole.

All considered, the Island might even be an Island in the world of Heavy Metal.
Or regular earth.
Or the Lost Island.
Or that Island I made.
Or the Insane Clown Posse's secret hideout where they hid from Sburb.
