its fully possible, but I don't know how you plan to fend off megabeast after megabeast.

You'll still get the first two waves of migrants.

Edit: What's the biggest waste of Adamantine in DF?

It's probably made from baby bone, with a handle of baby leather. Probably uses the leg bones wound together for the handle, the pelvis for the handle/pick joint, and the pick is the spine.

But that's all in theory, of course. Not like I've made a pick out of my own 5 month old baby before.

Adamantine mittins?
I think causing the entire adamantine tube to collapse into HFS beats that
Adamantine Trade Depot

Edit: Screwed up something, reclaiming
Edit2: This is damn tedious. I will pair up the dorfs simply to make it MANAGABLE Moving to a flat location.

Annyone wanna get dwarfed?

Accidentally nuked the dogs while runesmithing away an underground demon swarm.
as in a "spawned 21 z-levels down on the first frame" undrground demon swarm.

I'll take Urdim if it's not too much trouble. He seems to like doing what I like doing.

Good for you.
And one of the dorfs will die sooner than the others, as not only did he not claim any food, he won't build anything despite having the required labours

Not sarcasm
Oh. Bad luck you.
You picked Urist McRetard. I suggest you pick someone who doesn't refuse to build things. Or don't.
Also going to die is Shem, who has no forge due to deciding to not get an anvil before "walling" themselves in
"walling" = pre-built auto-obsidian designed to get rid of one wave of migrants and make sure no others can get to the seven.
Each Dwarfed person may make one request for the dwarf to do, with the following exceptions:
1. You can only order the dwarf named after you to do somthing in the 21*21 burrow going from the embark layer (see 6) to the HFS
2. Shem cannot make metal items, as they have no anvil
3. Urist McRetard has no forge OR smelter ATM
4. Each dwarf has currently 2 spare 3x3 rooms for workshops
5. No asking outright to breach HFS, make adamantine megaprojects, anything that would most likely kill a single dwarf regarless of how powerful said dwarf is.
6. There is no way up, unless you want to emerge into the wonderful level now full of magma

also, Due to a bug in one of the raws, it occasionally rains ADAMANTINE WAFERS. This wealth will make for more sieges to keep my migrants busy.
each dorf has a couple of wafers to keep him/her happy
EDIT: Urdim has fixed his pathing bug and has everything set up now.
