the 6 surviving dorf hermits have been set up. Unless The megaproject causes otherwise, these dorfs will die of old age.
If you have been dorfed, you may order said dorf to do a megaproject, but following this rule:
You can only order the dwarf named after you to do something in the 21*21 burrow going from the embark layer (see 6) to the HFS
Each dorf is currently occupying a 21x21x3(middle layer extended to 23x23 to allow complete smoothing) area:

Dorfed people:
Lolghurt
Omnipotent Grue
CinnibarMan
Unnamed dorfs:
Urdim
Likot
Goden

EDIT: FIRST MOOD
ON A MIGRANT
FUCK HIM
LAVA WIPED EVERYTHING OFF THE SURFACE BUT TREEEEEES

It's probably made from baby bone, with a handle of baby leather. Probably uses the leg bones wound together for the handle, the pelvis for the handle/pick joint, and the pick is the spine.

But that's all in theory, of course. Not like I've made a pick out of my own 5 month old baby before.

took from 90 to 101 to finish, two years longer that I would have liked
massive 4 z-level construction full of magma/water, held up by a pillar and a lever. None of this was magmasafe.
Pull lever, world partially magmafloods to seal off the 7 dorfs and wipes all traces of them off the surface. except an anvil that was stolen anyway.

Can someone explain to me what exactly this is about? It looks interesting but I'm confused. :(

6x now

if someone would tell me how to mod the embark number, I'll do a 10x hermit challenge

edit: can someone tell me please? I forgot to post, but they all mooded one after the other and died.
edit2: When I next embark, I'll use runesmith to change their tags to "had mood"

Look back in the thread. I pointed you in the direction of the "Friendship Enhancer".

I take it there is no way to actually increase the number of dwarves you embark with?
Oh and I'm regenning the world because it's raining adamantine wafers for some reason.

Time to build a fort to drop into the magma sea. Preferably using as much adamantine as possible. And hopefully troll-proof
