Tass cricked his neck, and stalked up to the throne. Sitting, he leaned forward and toyed with a strange web of silver strands as he spoke.

For the third time, I'm Tass, God of the night. I'm responsible for the big hunk of silver up there, and honestly, I prefer it to that one.

Tass jerks his thumb at Silver, somehow maintaining his weave of the strands whilst doing so.

I haven't really gotten up to much yet, so I suppose I'll vacate this seat for now.

Tass stalks back to his bench and sits down.

Preformer god nice man Carmanthyre whispers under his 'breath' to Silver. The old northren gave a small chuckle.

Perhaps I should introduce myself, spoke Akiel with an attention-grabbing cough. He rose from his bench, but did not move to the central throne. My name is Akiel. By my hand, technology is created, is spread, and societies advance. I work indirectly. My word inspires mortals to turn the raw materials of the world into works of great complexity, beauty, and power. Mortals, if possessed with power as great as ours, would act similarly. Our minds are no different from theirs. Thus, with a small push, primitive cultures - my apologies, Silver - will achieve greatness.

"Thank you, Akiel," Shaq said with a nod.  He stepped up and stood in front of the throne to speak.

"As you know, I am Shaq - I am, embody and even proliferate Murder.  I suppose you may feel I should defend my very existence - that somehow Murder should have a good side that will redeem it."  Shaq's eyes flashed with anger.  "In that case, I am sorry to disappoint.  Murder is the child of hate, greed and lust.  It is a dark thing, a terrible thing, and so am I.  But it will persist, no matter how little you like it.  Whether a jealous lover's thrust of the knife, or a warrior's crush with a club - murder is murder.  Whether your intents are corrupt and evil beyond compare, or you kill for noble ends - murder is murder."  Shaq glared significantly at Carmanthyre.

"Consider the form of the hero deity.  Carmanthyre embodies what is good and noble, the ideals of everything that would oppose me and those akin to me.  Yet what form has he taken?  A knife.  A long knife, of a strange material, but a knife nonetheless, and with its shape and construction it was made for one thing and one thing alone - murder.  Can this 'sword' be used to cut meat?  Not with any skill.  Can this sword be used to cut plants?  Not with any skill.  Only the felling of sapient beings was this sword designed to do - even against beasts it will have less effect.  Carmanthyre, hate me and revile me as you will - you are my brother, and every action you take to oppose me only strengthens that bond.

"If there is one thing good to say about Murder, it is that it is a choice.  To kill another sapient being is not the law of Nature - not to kill for the intent of being rid of them - and so it can only exist as a result of free will.  To that end, I will say this; I may further the cause of destruction and death, I may breed evil in the hearts of men, but I will fight to protect their power to choose evil."

The God stood, clearing his throat, asking the God's for silence. Once he was given it, he started. I am The Wanderer. God of the Dark Abyss, master of the Omni, guider of the lost. The Abyss, despite what many a mortal may wish to think, should they even hear the name, is not a place of evil but of a place of emptiness.. Turning to look at Shaq in the eyes, he continued. As such... Things of haste, ignorance and stupidity, such as this thing you call murder, of which you seem fond of, are not permitted in it.. Staring intently at Shaq in the eye, he spoke in a strong voice, Nor are the God's whom control these vile elements or those that wish to do so. Mortals of all types, on the other hand, are permitted to enter the void, should they wish to for what ever reason. And I promise to leave them to their ways, as long as they do not break the cycle of the Abyss. However, they are at the mercy of the dwellers of the Void, whom may choose to ignore them.... Or remove them. Clearing his throat, the God pushed on. And should these laws be broken..., the God said, yet again staring at Shaq. I shall open the void to the surface, to state my anger. And I can assure you that that is something none of you wish to see. And with that, the God sat down.

Shaq raised an eyebrow.

"Not to burst your bubble here, but why would I be interested in a realm of complete emptiness?  Murder typically requires at least two sapient beings."

Is that so?... Lets keep it that way then, shall we? Also, I must depart. I have matters of concern to deal with. I shall leave my trusted Omni in your hands, whom shall be my eyes and ears on this island. Should you need to contact me, talk to the Omni. With that, the God turned and etched the figure of a circle in the air. Clapping his hands, the circle then turned into a shimmering portal, looking into the empty darkness. All that was visible were 9 points of white light and another 9 lights of blue. The God then entered the portal and with a loud and bright flash, the portal imploded on its self, leaving nothing but a small scorch mark on the ground beneath it.

Akiel stood up. I must also excuse myself, I just realized that I have an urgent matter to attend to. And he disappeared in a shower of sparks.

' Everyone is in a hurry to get away from here, for some reason.' Amparos muttered, standing up. He was not much of a speech-maker, but he could not remain silent forever. 'I am Amparos, ruler of the ocean depths. I have created - but not much, yet. The spirits of the rivers and the lakes are mine to command, and I have made sure my realm is well-protected. I will also make a... guardian for this island when I leave, Mother, if you allow me to.'

A guardian to keep beings like Shaq and it's kin away, more specifically, but that didn't need saying. Amparos walked back to his seat and sat down. He still wished to speak with Kastheen before leaving.

His powers largely nullified on the island, Shaq shifted himself in front of Silver to take the brunt of the blast.

"Oh brother, this burns," Shaq muttered softly, then crumbled into ash.

As he slaved onwards, striving to create new life, Voltarucus realised something. I have done little on this land thus far, I should create life and thus, with but a flicker of his hands, he did create the Vulpen. The very earth in the ground rose up, forming into a humanoid shape, then the leaves of the trees fluttered downwards and adorned said figure in what we would call clothes.
The humanoid, now dressed, stood inert, with no seed of life yet planted within it. Voltarucus inhaled a breath, breathing deeply, and then exhaled. The wind carried the very essence of life and finesse with it, winding in through the ears into the head of the first Vulpen. And thus, life was created.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
The first Vulpan, Voltarucus decided, shall be named only by his destiny, and thus he is called "The First". 5 more Vulpans are created, each in turn called The Second and so on.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Upon seeing his first 6 Vulpans created, Voltarucus intended to rest, but he could not. He sensed a sudden disturbance in the force very fabric of the world, as if something else had just been created. But he was alone, was he not?
He rose into the sky in a flurry of leaves and began to gently fly towards the disturbance. After a while he say a great island, and realised that it must be the cause of said disturbance. With that, he descended to ground level and entered the main thingy (pantheon). Ah, I see I am indeed not alone, as I had thought... "Greetings, I am Voltarucus, God of Nature. Who art thou, that thee can create such wonders, akin to myself?"
Voltarucus creates the Vulpan, and instills in them the gift of creation

Nativa watched with glee as the dragon-like entity, instead of spewing forth its breath, withered and burned. Within a short moment it was consumed by its own fire, the effect of its magical energy reversed.

Being unprepared for certain acts was something not even she could afford to forget. With the death of this being, all other mortals on the island, with the exception of Silver, touched by Gods, withered and died.

You arrived just in time, Voltarucus! Please, sit on the throne, and share what you have to share.
There are more things I should talk about.

Voltarucus heard the words of this supreme-looking being, and sat. " I have little to say, for I am un-accustomed to dealing with others of my kind. I will say this, however. I intend to create nature, and wish that you will allow me to do so.

The Maw slowly stood up and clapped into his hands.

I am impressed how most of the violence around here is coming from those gods who deem themselves "good". Anyway he already promised not to hurt the mother AND she accepted it so why are you further trying to kill him EVEN on neutral grounds which every other god here seems to accept? You are talking of justice but you are the one who brings injustice, at least it seems like it to me...

Slowly, the Maw walked over to the throne and turned to the other gods.

Well as it seems its my turn. I am known as the Maw, God of Hunger. I tend to ignore the small drawers "aligments" confine us to as opposed to some of the others here

The maw throws a sidelook at the Lord of Death

Well anyway, i present one of the most basic of instincts inherent to each and every mortal being. Hunger. But not only the mere Hunger for Food. No.

In the cold dead and empty eyes of the god seemed a small spark begin to glimmer. The last bastion of passion in an otherwise dead being.

I am the curse that hunts the minds of Mankind. I am impersonating the hunger for power, the crave for respect. I represent what even now some of you feel. Thirst for Revenge. Don't understand me wrong, i find no joy in war or in murder, i won't feel content when i have gained power or when others have gained it. i am fueled by the cravings of the mortals and i fuel their cravings. I don't know if some of you might feel similiar. I don't know if Shaq always feels the craving to murder, if Rahisael is tortured by the constant need for battle. But i am this feeling, i am the unending need. I am the Maw.

While he spoke theold broken man stood more upright, he stood tall and he regained something of his old greatness. He looked like almost back in the times were he was young and in the prime of his life. But as he ended he sacked back and looked again, like an old broken man.

Excuse me if i was a bit to passionate. Well to the other things: i have not created anything so far, but soon i might create someone who might ease my eternal crave...

he nodded to the Mother and went silently back to his place...
