Two dwarf challenge
« Reply #15 on: September 04, 2010, 01:36:18 am »

Backfiring unfortunate accidents are the best.
Turns out there was magma in the mountain I channeled into caving in.
Keeping the dorf who managed to survive the subsequent flood of magma because my hermit may benefit from company.
Thats what you migrants get for arriving in a large enough wave to make my hermit a mayor.

It's probably made from baby bone, with a handle of baby leather. Probably uses the leg bones wound together for the handle, the pelvis for the handle/pick joint, and the pick is the spine.

But that's all in theory, of course. Not like I've made a pick out of my own 5 month old baby before.

What should I name my two dorfs?
Two dorfs locked out of the fort, don't know how they survived the magma and the fall
And should I post from the perspective of one of the dorfs from now on?
Now for the interesting stuff:
The fort is open to a bugged cavern full of constructions. Too risky to go to it though, or I could lose the hermit.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
the "bar" item was created by a failed custom reaction involving Suika Fortress's added items.
and EIGHT THOUSAND BARS that are IMPOSSIBLE TO GET TO without losing my hermit.

That's a lot of Adamantine.
Yes, and I cannot get to any of it.
The topmost layer is a single wall, surrounded by magma. On another note, I will be attempting to make a masterwork adamantium statue soon.

I need to reinstall my raws, as it RAINS adamantine wafers.
Mayors don't mind when their mandates fail if they have a 10x10 room half full of ☼adamantine statue☼s

screw it, they're called Patchouli and Rinnosuke now.
Also, human failsiege, and what is a good use for adamantine when you only have 2 dwarves?
I built an entire fortress out of it.
Except for the beds
