No, I just had two alternate stories at the same time for some reason there. i probably had something to nudge you guys back up there but completely lost it in the suggestions.

Sitting in your awesome rolling ice chair, you watch the students. And yell at them for not doing it right. But the sound of Sentry Gun rockets firing distracts you, and you roll over to the window to see someone explode into gibs who was amazingly clean for an attacker. no dirt on him, perfectly red outfit, yet a bloody sword and a pretty damaged spiked shield was what he was holding.

Wait, when did you make a Sentry Gun? you don't remember ever thinking of that, and when you look back out the window again all you see is a blue-shirted guy in a hardhat dashing off towards some place else with a large box in his hands, and the sentry has vanished. You rub your eyes to make sure an, yep, guys is still there. How did Jim-hmm, actually, that's not Jim's gate, that's someone else's. Jim's is a different color. You don't remember their name, so you might as well go over and see who it was that somehow didn't notice a giant, well, Sentry Gun. You don't really know what that thing is supposed to be, but a voice in your head explains it well enough. After making it over to North Gate, you see whatshisname seems to have been backstabbed, probably by a knife. You sigh and sit down away from dead guy, new guards take forever to actually be good.

It was different then that before (raiders and a spy and Vix shooting the raiders), but I got the orange box recently and though "Eh, why not make one more reference before the next part", and it ended up being an Engineer, a demoman, and a spy instead. Either way, the guard got dead-ed, so it didn't change that much.

You shift your shadow around until it shows you two feet to the left, move out of sight of the window (creating a one-way magic version of it as you do so you can still see through) and wonder where the raiders are. They sent a letter saying they were coming, obviously whoever does their strategy is as smart as they are. Hopefully they were not ambushed by Hardhat Boxcarrier, that would be anticlimatic.

We never saw him, no idea where he went and the knife wasn't left behind. all we can see is Exploded Demoman gibs, dead guard, various ye olde magazines (and assorted other things the guards keep), and a couple shell casings from the sentry.

What are they finding his scent from, though? It'd be a lot simpler to just follow the Engineer (aka Hardhat Boxcarrier) to wherever the fighting is and look for the spy there.

You try to cast Abstracted Thought, but are distracted by what looks like the ghost of the forth wall and it dissolves into mumbojumbo randomness. You smush the word 'fire' before it causes one and start after Hardhat Boxcarrier.
