On a different note, it would be nice to have something resembling an actual inventory in the recent near future. We may yet need to know.

I still say:

Have the Cryswarm start gathering plants from far and wide already (EDIT: or when back at the tower if we need the thought filter or you don't want to miss the fight!)  Current set-up: ten units of 500. Of course, that might be far more than we need. The last time we got a bird gliding, it was...fourty units-ish? Bah, I don't remember at the moment. (*will probably edit in later*)
EDIT: 81 units. I was only 41 units off! *cheesy grin*

Figure out how to make power orbs if we haven't already (but after done observing).

You forgot about the power orbs? dude, those were one of the main things for a while.

I tried to keep an inventory, but it just fell apart somewhere.

Overcharged Unstable power orb (unstable orb + reactive)

I can't find what we made the unstable orb out of, but I assume we did it 170 or so standard pages back, since that seems like one of the oldest things we've had constantly in something.

Yeah, that's the thing. It doesn't seem to be there.
EDIT: Hell, as far as I can tell, there isn't even any record of them poofing into existence. They just happened. On page 9 of my (default) length. To be precise, in post #126.
The first mention of power orbs was, edited to be exact:

Metal wheels wouldn't help much until they've got a more stable powersource (all three are running on unstabilized magic power orbs, which are erratic at best.)

In other news: Put fire out.
Stay far, far away from phoenixes until you devise some method of not getting set on fire.
For now, retreat to your tower, and see if you can't get those stabilizers (that was the point of sending out the bird Cryswarms, or planning to), and see if you can't get to work on building, or more likely, modifying a robot to gather scrap metal for you.
