That could work.
If we were in the Physical plane.
Metamancy is pretty much Meh in the Metaphysical plane, the spells aren't meant for the loosened physics of up here.
Everything else should be fine, though.

the ice refuses to touch him. dang nethack characters and thier multiple resistances!

I'm going to go with the nethack thing for this part of the meta-world, once we get out of the fogy zone we'll lose the scribblenauting, but it'll be a much safer area.
