You decide to go to the neighboring towns of Zing, Ploh, Bluh, and Wom, but with no cats, no armor, no Cryswarm, just an aura of pure cold and a perfectly clear ice sword. But you aren't disguised as a demon. That you're saving for your town. You walk to Zing a foot off the ground, walking on the fog freezing under your feet and blasting the rest out of the way. You'd heard rumors of someone called Zion, so-called Emperor of The Seven Towns. Well, control of Reyk Figaro plus 4 decimated towns should get his attention.

After all, rumors also said they were his next targets.

You slice right through the gate like it was warm butter, and look for a wizard. seeing none, you create a Stable Absolute Zero, and leave it floating on a piece of charged ice. You do the same at Ploh, Bluh, and Wom. then, from atop a cloud, you hit all 4 at once with an icicle, and the towns disappear into white explosions, everything miles around them turning white from the immense blast of Cryomancy.

HeheheheHAHAHAHAHA!

Ya'll have good ideas, but lets move the story a bit more, shall we?
Computers and squirrels and cats are interesting and useful to mess around with, but I was honestly getting bored of doing stuff with them right now. (and since you guys to focus on all of that, I decided to get Cryo boosted up to max so you can)

We just blew the 4 surrounding towns into tiny shards of ice, do we really need the disguise?
All we have to do is tell them who did it and they'll surrender.

Make some sort of magic detectors for your cats and squirrels so that in case you send them out on solo missions they'll know to run away if a wizard shows up

You focus on the book, and find out that the shopkeeper got it from a...hooded thing...Very much to the North. (Too far with not enough happening to trace very far back with our current Psionics.)

He got it from The North, and Zion is more of a Florida than a Michigan.
