Cats can only learn as far as a toddler, was my point. We'd have to remove their computation limiter so that they could learn to do more than just [stalk poorly - pounce weakly] combo everything. Besides, who says we can't have both a Death Squirrel Alpha, cat ninja Alpha, and Cryswarm Death Squirrel Alpha? We're a wizard, there's nothing stopping us from doing it all.

Freeze the cat and move it to the nuked zone, go back to the new home and move the portal outside of the tower, move the cat back.

I've always thought like a wizard with magic, I just wanted to grind a lot to do the wizardy stuff I've been holding back on.(the Great Squirrel Dragon, replacing any unloyal citizens in the village with humanoid brainwashed squirrels, launching a rebellion against all mason guilds across the world for their prices that apparently insult our wizardness, etc)

We didn't fit that in there, it just happened when we screwed around with the bag. this is just normal "10 pounds of cheese in a 5 pound box" problem.

This isn't an MMO. We don't need to grind.

Speaking of that ridiculous amount of land we should see how much ground we can levitate with our psionics once we figure out how to get Ninja Cat Alpha out.

breadbocks: We do technically need to grind, unless Aklyon wants to make everything involving magic add to our current proficiency in it. For MAGIC!

More or less everything we make with magic does add to our proficiency. It seems that the cooler it is, the more proficient we get. Seriously, we got at least 5 levels of cryomancy for casting one spell in the beginning, and we've been doing similar things for the rest of the game (albeit not as fast, but we haven't needed to grind).

If we do awesome, then we get exp, ok? Aklyon doesn't want this to get boring either, so he's doing it that way. I think.

I've been trying to make the grinding plans amusing.(nuking the forest, random slaughter of small mammals in Yonder Forest, etc)

Constructing things to gain exp is better: first, it will attract less attention from dangerous entities. Second, it leaves us with useful things, such as an army of ninja-cats, controlled grey goo, giant monsters, etc.
