You seem to be missing the point of an ice age in this case. We're magic, to us changing the climate is too easy, thus magic logic dictates that we turn the world into a modest sized space glacier.

Wouldn't work, making the climate COLDER is easy, warming it up is pyromancy as far as I know. I'm really starting to make my posts vague, aren't I?

no, its still cryo, unless you are actually making it warmer, not just less cold. Heat = Pyro.

Also, ever heard of mass spells or global spells? Like the theoretical ice age spell would be? And what exactly gave you the idea that controllng the climate would be easy anyway? And no I'm not saying we should coldproof everyone, I'm just saying that a spell to make it less cold could possibly be related to that.
