For now, let's get back to the Legion. Read one's mind, then have the rest start learning full-scale chess. Whichever team survives will be promoted to a higher rank accordingly. We can make a near infinite amount of drones I'm assuming, so we won't have to worry about extincting the lesser ones any time soon.

We are limited by our (arguably ridiculously vague at this point) mana supply to create them with (sleep to regain it and we can make more, the rest won't vanish overnight unless they're ambushed) and the will of the RNG.
