Well, not exactly. We'd need a 13 to successfully cast the Float spell if nobody helps us. You know what five miles of NOT floating permafrost would do?

Also, before we cast it, we should make a shitton of Adamantium and sell it to the dwarves for a mile long, several inch thick Addy chain, to prevent the island from floating away. We would presumably need some source of constant power for the spells. An Epic Magic Orb should work, or we could bind it to the soul of an ice demon for epic flair.

Also, the DnD SRD (the guideline I used) lists a Difficulty Class of 40 as being "Nearly Impossible", for example, "Track a squad of orcs across hard ground after 24 hours of rainfall"

We aren't using DnD logic last time I checked... Meh.
We can use that, sure, but it seems a bit too out of place in an X of Y game. I'll never care to remember it, but Aklyon makes the final decisions in how we do things in this game.

I think Red brought up DnD because I've been using pretty much the random.org equivalent of a d20 the whole game, except its more of a d21 since I include 0.

The DnD SRD happens to be a nice source for game mechanics.

And the Bubble is a DC of 45, so, umm... Generate about 80 numbers?

Or just Take 20?

Our nice, semi-efficient way of randomizing things is falling to the hands of the nice, semi-efficient DnD way of doing things.

We had a similar situation to this before, us wanting to help seemed to solve the problem.
