You create the demon, though this time as an actual Illusion.
Time to take over the town.

You move the demon up to the gates, thenleave him there like hes waiting for the total darkness like before. the guards stare at him scaredly.
You notice the guard named Jim is asleep again, and wake him up though a carefully manipulated icicle, so that it doesn't kill him, but it still looks like the demon shot it. He hears the sounds of icicle striking crazy hard on wood and jumps awake. You then make a darkish colored ice chunk, stand on it, and then yell at the 'demon' from atop your tower. One of the guards yells at you to shoot at it.

You do, but it also hits the mayor who came out after realizing that you'd asked if you could do his job for him by slaying the demon.
Well, crap. you quickly move the demon so it looks like it hit him, and rush over to the mayor. He hands you a piece of paper, thanks you for killing it, and then runs out of last words and dies. Then paper is just some boring "If I die , blah is blah." thing. Oh well, you can probably find something rewardish in the treasury.

We can't be doing paperwork when there is MAGIC!!! to be done! metamance him back alive. We will not be denied!

Also, metamance our way up to 20, at which point, we are Surda, and then we can damn well break the level cap if we want to, and bump ourselves up to 21&1/2. Screw level 21, we need that extra half level above the level above the rest if we want to win.

Have Vix establish himself as sovereign, and order some of the more intelligent villagers to handle any and all paperwork so we can do stuff.

Move the houses from the middle of the town to it's borders and place your tower there.
then fortify it's walls and start to adapt the inhabitants to low level cryomancy.

You add a School of Magery (It was supposed to be Of Magic!, but the painters decided to alternate from the design), and give the remaining office worker peoples the job of doing all the paperstuffs. You then make a signing stamp, stamp it, and go check on the arctic ring you caused. It seems to have melted.

I mean the experiments we've been doing, the takover of the town, and other stuff we've been up to. The cryswarm itself is one such thing and that shuld provide a nice tansition to the second topic.

Well the current affairs in the town(that I can gather) are:

Hole in the ground where the cowardly shopkeeper was
Low quality buildings everywhere
The town walls are destroyed a la 'demon attacks'
The scrapyard has no scrap
