Made a game where you colonize Hell or Heaven?

I was reading that thread about the guy who set up a fort in Hell, complete with farming, and I'm just wondering why no one has ever made a game where you take a bunch of humans, pick an area (or get a randomized area, I'm not picky) in either Heaven or Hell, and try and survive the wrathful Heavenly Host for your desecration, or the cruel hordes of demons and hellish fauna. I'd play that for hours! If it was made well.

What does anyone else think? Any more suggestions are good, this isn't a "LETS MAKE A GAME" thread, it's just a brainbloop I had that I thought I might share (that's why it's not in Creative Projects).

Sounds like it could be neat, if done right.

Then again, a lot of things could have been neat if they were actually done right.

Either way, shouldn't this go in Other Games or something?

That sounds like what I meant, but complete opposite!


Heaven/Hell is already made, and lowly humans managed to break in and start a colony.


Also, I GUESS it could go in Other Games, but since it's not an actual game and I don't plan on making it, so yeah.

I've toyed for months with the idea of cleansing hell with purifying water/magma (or water+magma) and then colonizing it somehow.

And I'm pretty sure we have games that let you colonize things that are helllike. (DF for one...)

So DF with creature changes, play as human, change biomes to heaven/hell, change soils and rocks and stuff to theme.
It's called mods.

I actually liked assassin's creed for that. I got to be called Heathen (which is one of my main nicknames almost everywhere, Soulwynd being my most social nick) and I got to kill catholics left and right. Hurray.
