Turn 1
Saturday, September 4th, 9:00AM
tehstefan: You wake up like every day, but power's out. Whatever- it happens. It's unseasonably cold, though. You look out the window hoping to see a power crew at work, but the roads are quite, clean and desolate. Nearby a fissure cuts along the road for a small distance, as if an earthquake had torn it open. It is eerily quiet. The weather is sunny, which surprises you given the temperature. It should warm up any time now.
Jack A T: You hear gunshots, and start out of bed suddenly. Outside you see a few abandoned cars, and signs of a fight. For some reason, nobody's home. As best your untrained eye can tell, rocket launchers were used outside- but surely you should have heard them, right? (?) You think you hear a noise downstairs...
Ultimuh: You wake up in your sleeping bag. In your tent, in fact (I'll assume you have one... if not, you were under a tree). You take a moment to recollect- you don't like to leave your tent until you have your wits about to deal with the damn bugs. They're the only thing that gets up earlier than you do, you think... except today. It's already light outside! After a little thinking, you seem to remember seeing a unicorn... You rummage through your bags for empty bottles of alcohol in the hopes of explaining your vision, and... hey! A half-full whiskey! You should really stop bringing this on hunting trips. You're not sure if you remember packing it in your first place. Natch.
Neyvn: Iiiiiiit's the morning! Bright and early! Yeah right. It's Saturday, and you don't feel like doing much. You turn on your computer and try to connect to the Bay12 forums, but your internet seems really spotty. After trying a few times, it gives you a blue screen (what is this? The nineties?) You try heading for a stroll, but it's pretty cold inside, so you stay in... you think you hear a noise. (10) It seems to be behind the book case. Critters maybe? You really hope not. Bastards can get expensive to deal with, you've heard.
wolfchild: It sounds like a fight outside. A riot, really. And there's gunshots- not the occasional muted Bang from the distance kind, but the ear-splitting DAKKA-DAKKA kind. And some bigger noises- really, you aren't sure what they are. A window breaks- you're not sure why, it's in another room. You'd probably better act fast.
