Haunted Regions in World-Gen

Hi, first time posting. Knowing the depth of this game, this may already happen, but here's my suggestion:

With the new changes to World Gen and Site, would it be possible for Haunted sites to become specifically linked to Historical Events? For example: an undead forgotten beast ravages a human settlement, spreading its curse and leaving ranks of zombies shambling amongst the ruins. Or a region could be tied to an ancient battle, where the ghosts and undead soul still roam the lands searching for those to devour (Ala The dead marshes in Tolkien). Even Abandoned Fortresses in evil locales could be repopulated by cursed remains of their former inhabitants. What do you think?

That actually sounds pretty awesome, so you mean like lingering historical haunting events? Old battlefields being full of the ghosts of the former fighters, etc.

Thats why we don't go to Uristholm anymore. It hasn't been the same since little Johny used that there evil magic to summon a giant of bronze. Everything it touched turned into bronze zombies. And thats how I invented the internet.

Linking haunted regions to historical events sounds like a lot of fun, however it should still be passble to influence the chance of  this happening so that you can decide you don't want any haunted regions at all. Additionally at the start of world gen we should have some haunted regions by default which have a small chance of dissapearing every now and then so that people who don't have the computer power to gen a few hunderd years of history can still have haunted regions.
