I discovered how to buy cars. Proceeded by discovering that you can make cars go faster by holding down shift.

Bought the racecar and had an ally jump into the car too. I drove as fast as I could towards the enemy flag, and expected to stop by driving into a wall. Instead what happened was that I accidentally used the stairs up to the flag as a ramp, and flew over the whole thing. I managed to bail out in time, landing behind the enemy spawn, but my ally was not so lucky and flew off the map to his death. I did not expect that.

Played for a good while, was pretty good.  Kinda low pop - I'm hoping that just due to it being late right now.

   While I will note I play as akhier I basically point this out in my videos a couple times so we should probably spread the referrals out among those who play from here. Also of note, we are the Bay12 clan as it states in the OP of this thread so if you want to denote you come from here and haven't joined another clan or something put that as your clan.

   Okay I have a more proper video up now. The start shows how to setup a queue for quick matches and then two games. The first game is relatively quick as I joined partway through and the second is proper length. I don't do quite as well in this video but later ones will have me getting better. how do i set clan tag?

   Right after you log in it should be on the top of the stuff in the middle of the screen. If your already logged in and went to another screen its The main menu tab under account. About 30 seconds into the video I link just above your post you can also see it.

Hey guys, just want to say thanks for being so supportive. Been seeing heaps of Bay12 peeps ingame with lots of suggestions and feedback, and some are even sharing the game around! Very friendly community and you're more than welcome in the game

Oh, I'm Blarce in the game, if that matters.

I-I'm not sure how I'm supposed to roll when I pick the mage preset.  Assassin is hilarious - stalking people with a shotgun is great, as is car-killing with Blade barrier - and Warrior is fairly straightforward, too (get big gun, run up to badguys, activate ALL the defenses, never stop shooting) but Mage... I dunno.

I mostly just sniped defensively, using the orbthing and the fastbulletsthing, though rolling with an LMG and using Bullet Time as a frontliner, both to prepare giant bullet-sprays and to get out of the way of stuff, was pretty alright too.  That was mostly in lowpop games, though, so Iunno.

Just tried this thing out. It ain't bad.

I honestly think it might be a game I'll keep frequenting every now and then, the quick matches are very accessible, and this is the sort of game where it doesn't feel like I'm letting anybody down by leaving a match if I absolutely have to, so I can basically just jump in and play.

   So a few of us have put the Bay12 clan tag in. First off if you don't have a clan and you come from here, please do use it. But besides a general call to have people use it more, there is a clan subforum. I have been half considering starting a Bay12 clan thread there, if only to take down a list of names of those of us who are there. So yeah, please use the clan tag and if you do post here and if we get a few people I will throw up a clan thread and link it.
