Could someone tell me what comes after the warlocks?

Dwarven priests, I think.

This game gets just boring and frustraiting as soon as everybody starts onehitting you.
I'm tired of trial and error.

I heard they're planning PVP arenas and a Capture the Flag Mode as well. I hope they bump the max waves of the challenges too. 20 is not enough death and destruction.

The only ones I know who instakill are yetis, and I basically teleported through the level with them.

Time warp+teleport=no bullshit

You could most likely do a 2nd playthrough by just teleporting through the levels and to the uncollected spells and mooses...meese...moose?

Death, yetis, bolder spell of dwarf mages.
I really don't feel like playing on, because I bet it get's even more ridiculous.

This is really build for multiplayer, where others can revive you.

Fun fact about yetis: they can't grab you (and subsequently not insta-kill you) if you are on fire. They can still, however, punch you.

I'm going to start up a bay12 server soon. What chapter should we start on?
I haven't beaten the game in single player yet, I only just beat Khan, so the level after Khan is the latest I want to go.

I might be able to join tomorrow or something. Multiplayer is always fun.

Could someone give me some advice? Y'know in chapter 8, where you go onto the bridge and goblins come frmo both sides? What's the best tactic for that, 'cause I keep getting shanked...

Oh, and who else first used Thunderstorm in a multiplayer game,  killing you both instantly and hilariously?

You could try what I do.

Immediately make a volcano shield around yourself (rockx3+fire+shield), then enchant your sword with either the same thing, or lightning shield and just blast away repeatedly. Lightning shield line does ridiculous damage. Works against yetis too.

That'd be a sound tactic were it not for the archers. I'll try it out though.

Just got this game, any tips?

I'm only on level 3 but really getting frustrated that everything stun locks me

Beams are good for frying things.
Most things early-game can be beaten through a water beam- cold-beam combo.
Soak your foes, then destroy them with an ice beam.

Using shield on yourself is really effective too.



BTW that tactic won't work because the damn goblins are armoured. I tried for ages- i'd have to break their armour first...

I find the bosses easy though, the problem is getting rushed by a dozen guys all of which can stun me.

Lightning plus cold worked for a while, shield doesn't help because every time I die its because the controls are completely locked up from getting knocked over or hit by arrows.
