Because that's what is making it impossible to play now. 4 friends, and none of them have a line with a high enough capacity to guarantee MP will run well.

I dunno, we were running rather well with me hosting, but yeah, reducing upstream bandwidth would be a good thing.

YOU are the only person we've found with a connection that could support what Magicka is asking for. We tried 4 other hosts, with and without voice chat going, and none of them could support more than 2 players in MP without massive de-sync issues.

Do you have a T1 line or something?

Not to my knowledge, no. And to me, my Internet line is  bit buggy, but that's mostly router issues. Hell if I know why I'm the best.

I THINK the issue with multiplayer is that Steam seems to be redirecting your connections to a completely different IP. I mean, some people tried connecting to me and Steam tried to connect them to the wrong IP.

Also, I can confirm there's a New Game Plus.

See, and Keldi put his router in DMZ, port-forwarded, all that nonsense. We pretty much isolated router issues, I thought.

I beat the chapter 6 boss only to have the game immediately close, install updates and lose all progress from that chapter. Oh God.

Wait until you get to Chapter 10 and have it crash on you when the boss is at 1% health. Then you will know true rage.

Thing is I'm not even sure if it crashed or just decided that this was the perfect time to forcefully install updates.

Played some of a challenge game (Holy Carp!) and actually stayed in for awhile... until the inevitable crash.

Sight, was doing good in arena, yetis came out, I charmed them, they killed everything for me...
Then I flubbed the freeze on them 5 times in a row.

Managed to teleport out of their death gib 3 times.
The fourth time I rock+shielded self.  They ate me inside my rock...

Just got the demo. Pretty fun, although it's choppy and causes overheating. Also, I'm awful at this.

Anyone working on finding the magical configuration settings / console commands to remove all unnecessary gfx like lighting, fog, smoke, bloom, shaders, etc. like the ones everybody uses for tf2 and alien swarm? That'd be a big help.
