I'm having problems with one autoquest, I'm suppose to retrieve a bag of jewels or something from gypsy's. I've killed tons of them (those that are in the city that is) and no drop.

Macro/alias everything! A good client makes that game so much more fun. We had some great trade value scripts for trade runs, those were the days.

For those interested, Running pearls or teak from Mystara to New Genesia brings in an easy 2.2 million gold, with 80% of the run being in risk 350- territory. I've been devaluing the heck out of it though :p.

I haven't valued any of the other "easy" (Risk 400 or less) trading posts yet, but I'll check them out eventually.

I'm attempting to make contact with some clan recruiters, but I have no idea what we're looking for. Speak up guys.

For the record, almost all clans have at least 4 ships, so that won't be a problem.
Personally, I'm looking for a clan that does regular TRs, I'm hoping to build a nice nest egg before I multiclass.

Aren't you level 79 or something? When I looked you up it said something like that in brackets after your current level.

Level 91 actually, but in essence, I'm still a level 29 character,

When you multiclass, you go from level 31 back to level 1 and lose the benefits of those levels; but you keep any skills/spells of any previous classes you've already been. So even though I'm a mage, I can still cast cleric spells like heal and sanctuary. Some skills/spells can only be used by the appropriate class i.e. only current-class thieves can backstab, only current-class clerics can cast benediction, etc. Additionally, you need to be the right level to use the spell, so no casting frost shards (level 16 spell) as a level 10 cleric-mage.

So if you put a mage, cleric, and warrior together in one group, you're probably more than able to handle the above route.

I knew that but you made it sound like you haven't multiclassed yet.
Before I multiclass.

Oh I so want to be a paladin (warrior + cleric) in this game. Or a spell-slinging ranger (mage + thief?)!

Archery's a warrior skill, and you can only use it while in a group, but otherwise CC Mage + War Multi in a group is more than viable.

So what's everyone looking for in a clan? I'm serious, if we're all going to group together in one clan than we might as well pick one we can all enjoy.
You can use "Showclan N" to see all the clans, "Showclan <Clan#>" to see their stats, and "Showclan P <Clan#> to see their profile.

I'm up for everything as long as there are people to form up with.

What's the use of a mud if you play alone?

I was given an offer by someone in Clan 10. Hrathgar, I believe. I told him I wasn't sure but to talk to Zarikor, since I was trying to stay with a group. He said he could take all of us, but didn't even ask how many we were.

EDIT:

As for choosing a clan, I don't really care. Stats are almost meaningless to me. I just want to make sure a clan I'm in is going to be friendly and not take everything too seriously. I want to have fun.

I have, been getting a fair amount of gold. When I play some more later or something I'll see if the autoquest has a particular name and see if I can look it up on the wiki someone posted earlier.

How can I use some of those custom scripts that were linked a few pages back?

@BuriBuri: You can multiclass as all four of the classes but you need eggs from the catacombs.

EDIT: May I sugest that you edit the first post to have the summary of each clan in a spoiler?
