This sounds awesome, but can you play it on a laptop with no numpad?
Just checking.

(if it can, I'll most likely be Aklyon or something close to that)

You can play without a numpad but you will have to macro your movement keys elsewhere.

Hey everybody. I'm a bit of a lurker here.
Anyway, I'm in as 'Lerz' the Mage.
I don't have much, but I will be happy to contribute what ever I have to the guild.
See you all in game!

So what time IS everyone on?

Also, just finished a solo trade run, it wasn't anything particularly money-making. No catastrophes or anything, but the DM sic'd a crapload of mobs at me. It would've been much easier with a group.

Now, since a group can fit 9 people, and each person can control one pack-wagon...

Did anyone choose a cleric class? Healers ARE practically necessary in a group.

A few people chose cleric but we have way too many mages, probably won't be a problem once we multiclass but until then... :-\

If everyone posts their in-game names and timezones/playing time can you put them in the first post blaze?

Of course, I'd be delighted to do so. *Cue extremely pompous tone of voice*.

I'm located at GMT -8, but work and school make it so that I'm usually only available between the hours of 3-8 A.M. I'm off on the friday and the weekends though.

By the by, I also noticed the "explore" option. It rewards you with extra experience if you complete the objectives of exploring certain zones.

Once you hit level 13 or above you're usually talking at least a million experience to level. It takes awhile to multiclass and the only way you're really going to get to your next class is if you group up with a formation and again, you'll need a healer to even survive.

I am in as Raymos, thief.

My time zone is: GMT -5, and since I work in the morning I'll probably be around 9 AM to 2 PM and almost any time on Tuesday/Wednesday since that is my weekend.

It's the worst at level 26. It costs MORE experience to go from level 26->27 than it does for 27-28.

I think around 26 is when I stopped playing, actually. Haha.

I remember I was a Mage and had Shockwave, which is the most powerful spell in the game apparently.

At level 26 fireball is more cost effective than shockwave. Fireball costs 18, shockwave costs 33. And it's important to conserve mana until you receive kickback from the kill.

The most powerful spell in terms of damage is malediction, though it costs half your mana to use.

Most of the times I just kill things with acid danmaku though :V.

Also, remember to increase both wisdom and constitution to 18 before you level. Also remember to max out intelligence to 18 before attempting to practice any skills/spells.

I'll be collecting items that boost these so "link" me whenever I'm on if you need it.

You can also collect items yourself, here's a quick list of what mobs in Medievia City drop what items:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Don't attack the guardsmen, they'll mess you up easily.

Golden seal potions are available in a shop 3E 2N of recall, quaffing them heals you so stock up as necessary. They're a steal at 55 gold each.
