You lookout the window and see...nothing. You do, however, catch a whiff of a very acidic smell before the Ark's air filtration kicks in, and you can hear a loud, rythmic thumping, which shakes the ship every so often.

When you wake up, you realise you have no time to gather anything before the ship closes up for the day, and hurry back inside - noting that it would be best to wear an enviro-suit next time to avoid another embarassing accident.

Taking a litre of water, you sit down at your workbench and begin sculpting. Despite the difficulty inherent in using a liquid as a solid, you easily shape the water into a shimmering image of Ptah creating the universe, increasing the surface tension until it feels as hard as stone.

Some lucky breaks here (especially with that statue LAAT made), but gathering rolls weren't quite so lucky. Remember, it's best to limit actions to things that will only give experience in one skill - for example, turning a log into a sculpture of a tree would be alright, as it would only give woodworking experience, but planting it and making it grow in the same action would be more difficult - that would give botany experience, thus giving experience in two skills.
Therefore, from now on, if you attempt something like this, two attempt rolls will be made - one for each part of the action that gives a different skill. However, you will only gain half the experience in each skill that you normally would, whether you succeed both rolls or not.
